Grow

In the sixth and final message of our, Grow, series Pastor Paul speaks on the reality that God will complete the good work he started in us. In Philippians 1:6 Paul writes these words of encouragement to us, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” God will certainly complete his work in us on the day of Christ Jesus but in the mean time he is daily doing his work of completion in our lives. God’s promise is that he will complete his work in us and it’s his love that completes us.

In the fifth message of our, Grow, series Pastor Paul speaks on dealing with our past. Getting past our past is sometimes a very difficult thing to do. God wants to help us get past our past and use it to develop us. When it comes to our past we need to learn to let go and let God redeem our past. He will take the brokenness and darkness of our past and glorify himself through it.

In the fourth message of our, Grow, series Pastor Paul speaks on topic of habits. Habits will help us or hurt us. They can either develop us or destroy us. When it comes to habits we must choose wisely the habits we commit ourselves to. In doing so we will choose our future for it’s our daily habits that determine our future.

In the third message of our, Grow, series Pastor Paul speaks of the Lord discipline and how God uses discipline to develop us. The Bible is filled with insight into the topic of discipline. In the end we discover that through discipline and correction we encounter blessing and development.

In the second message of our, Grow, series Pastor Paul addresses the underestimated and under celebrated characteristic of perseverance. Far too often people give up short of seeing a payoff. Life and faith are filled with trials and testing but in the end they produce character and maturity. If we are going to grow in life we must persevere in the face of life’s trials and tests. Perseverance always leads to a payoff!
