Happy
In this series the Beatitudes of Matthew 5 are discovered. In it Biblical happiness is emphasized as the term “blessed” can mean “happy.” Happy are those who follow Christ’s exhortation in the Beatitudes. In some ways this is a very counter cultural thought as the first beatitude would suggest; “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Happy? Really? Absolutely yes!
