The Purpose
Answering The “Why?” Question
Every church need to have a purpose statement that answers the question, “Why do we exist?” At Junction Community Church, we filter every idea, ministry, and budget decision through our purpose statement. If what we plan doesn’t help us meet our purpose, then we don’t do it.
Our purpose statement is:
Junction Community Church exists to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
With this purpose in mind, it is our desire to construct a new building here at JCC that would continue to allow us to reach towards that end.
The purpose of developing a new building at JCC is underpinned with the focus of “reaching future generations today”. We know that our children and youth will immediately begin to benefit from our new facility and we also know that future generations will also reap the benefits. God works from one generation to the next, and we want to partner with Him to bless those who will come after us.
Additionally, we believe that God has strategically placed JCC to be a resource to the community that surrounds us. Just as we anticipate the new building being available for children and youth programming, we also look forward to other ways the community at large can benefit.
